AutoGunTracker is an Internet based solution that manages the data most critical to being a successful firearms dealer by simplifying the entire transaction process into one accessible platform.

Every firearms dealer is required to have a Federal Firearms License (FFL). Compliance with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (BATF) is critical in maintaining an FFL license. No license, no business.

From acquisition to disposition and all the forms in between, dealers are required to enter firearm information over and over again, increasing the likelihood of error and increasing the chances of being out of compliance.  What does compliance mean? As FFL holders know all too well the time and effort it takes to properly maintain records to stay in compliance.

Most of the acquisition information (manufacturer/importer, model, serial number, gauge or caliber, and type of action) has to be re-entered for the BATF Form 4473, Form 3310.4, 3310-11, Form 4, Form 5 and others. Every form must be filled out correctly. No transposing serial numbers, no typographical errors. The ATF Bound Book tracks all firearms that pass through a dealer’s possession. The BATF can request information from or perform an audit on a dealer at any time. Even with proper record keeping, it can take hours to find the data in a manual bound book.

AutoGunTracker is so powerful, a dealer must enter information only once, and it is automatically available through the AGT system in the following strategic capacities:

An Electronic Bound Book. FFL holders are required to keep a registry of firearms sales in an ATF-approved Bound Book.

The only BATF compliant Electronic 4473 available. Both customer and dealer documentation and submission is done entirely through the AGT system. After reviewing the section to be completed by a customer making a purchase, a dealer need only fill in the required dealer information, select a firearm from the electronic inventory and the 4473 is automatically electronically generated.

Elimination of Redundent  Data Entry. When the disposition information of the 4473 is determined, the firearms on the 4473 are automatically fed to the disposition transaction.

Electronic 3310-4. The system automatically detects when a customer has acquired two or more handguns from a dealer within five business days and generates the completed form with the firearm information.

Online Inventory. Whether at the store or at a gun show, a dealer has access to pricing and availability.

Financial Reporting. A wealth of useful reports including Inventory Value,  Profit Margins, Sales Tax Reports, Graphical Sales Reports.

Transaction Reports. Each transaction is composed of one or more

acquisitions/dispositions. The transaction information shows the date

and time of the transaction, transfer information, financials and more.

A Customer Database and Associated Reports. AGT provides the ability for the dealer to see what firearms where purchased by whom. It also provides a best customer list, and has the ability to automatically email any or all of a dealer’s clients at once.

Gun Show Analysis. Reports indicating what gun shows were the most successful as well as sales broken down by make, model, caliber.

Electronic Bound Book Searches. Instantly answer BATF information requests. If the standard search functions do not satisfy a BATF inquiry, the support staff at AGT will generate reports for even the most demanding queries.

AutoGunTracker is a web-based application. Dealers can check inventory and perform transactions from any device capable of connecting to the Internet including desktop computers, laptops, and hand held 3G/4G devices. A dealer is not bound by location or licensing issues. All communication is done over secure socket layer (SSL), the same encryption level that is used by online banking.

A leading distributor of outdoor and shooting sports products in the nation, has partnered with AutoGunTracker to make compliance even easier for dealers purchasing product. When a shipment of firearms is received from them, the information can be reviewed and confirmed on the AutoGunTracker system. When the review is complete, one click will load all of the firearm information into the acquisition side of the Bound Book.

All dealer data is secure. AutoGunTracker backs up dealer data continuously in redundant locations simultaneously. Lost or stolen computers and failed hard drives will no longer mean the tragedy of losing important data. AGT Bound Books are available on demand at any time and are mailed in Excel format daily. The dealer always has a hard copy available in store.

In addition to the many features mentioned above, AutoGunTracker also provides support for those dealers who offer gunsmithing services. A separate bound book is maintained for gunsmith activity. A dealer can enter parts and work performed on a job. The progress of the work can be tracked online by the customer, who will then receive an email from the system when the work is completed.
